“Sometimes I think the last victory over political correctness was when Rhode Island voted not to delete “and Providence Plantations” from its name.  Funny, I guess the leftists didn’t know that “plantation” was also used by the British to refer to Catholic areas of Ireland under British control.  I guess the persecution of Catholics doesn’t count.”
