One of the signers of this open letter calling for the US to be a force for peace and negotiations is Ann Wright, Colonel, US Army (retired) and former US diplomat. She spoke at the antiwar rally at the Lincoln Memorial on March 18 along with Ron Paul and Daniel McAdams. Afterward at a reception I had the opportunity to meet her and thank her for her courage to speak out for peace.
