The corrupt empire cannot stand to have anything important outside its control, thus the attack by the indispensable nation on world football and the dispensable nations. How dare FIFA award the 2018 World Cup to Russia? That will be blocked, and never again will a non-colony of the US get this important sporting event. Even more despicable, the US would like to put failed prez candidate Mitt “CIA” Romney in charge of FIFA.

On national sports talk radio, there is open dialogue something along the following lines: the feds went after FIFA because the US was awarded neither the 2018 nor 2022 World Cup, and with Blatter at the helm, unlikely to get either of the next two (2026 / 2030).  The guy who came in second in the recent election is apparently pro-US (Prince Ali Bin al-Hussein, a Jordanian son of King Hussein).  The talk radio guys are saying things like “FIFA stands for ‘Feds Investigate For America,'” suggesting that the reason this is being done now is not so much to change the venues for 2018 and 2022, but to win one of the next two World Cups for the US. I have heard discussion like this from overseas sources (non-US / western connected), but this “tin-foil hat” stuff is being talked about in the open on US radio.
