Libertarian Secessionism

Writes Mike Holmes:

Lew,

A very concise and thoughtful essay based on some current trends causing the statists to re-examine their love of imperial America. They don’t like the new Emperor so they have to question old prejudices.

Short, readable and to the point. Also anchoring this line of thought with the great libertarian thinkers of the past.

Whatever new is old again. Whatever old is new again.

Trump’s election has proven more “revolutionary” than anyone could have thought a year ago. Worship of federal government statism is the new “conservativism” of the intelligencia comrades. They can hardly contain themselves at the prospect of fundamental change at the top of the federal heap.

In this, they are forced to confront their conservative assumptions. Some have anyway. Good to remind everyone that we were there first. And for the right reasons.
