Lew, in reading a collection of Joe Sobran’s National Review articles, I came across this wonderful opening to his review of “Catholics and American Politics” by Mary Hanna: “This book costs 15 bucks.  I say this by way of admonition, not self-pity: I got it for free.  But then I had to read it, and you don’t.”  Sobran’s withering prose continues to inspire.
