If she were to become the nation’s First Lady in January 2017, Kelley Paul said she would work to raise awareness of issues veterans face. “I’m involved with several veterans charities, and I’m a big believer that we cannot do enough for our veterans, especially our older ones,” she said. “We need to bring more attention to our soldiers coming home because when they do, our obligation to take care of them and repay them for their sacrifices does not end.”
