Candace Owens’ interview with USS Liberty survivor Phil Tourney is receiving global attention. Many information/news sources around the world are republishing it or writing about it. Candace entitled her interview which now has nearly 5 million views “A Personal Announcement” to beat YouTube algorithms and censors. A sampling of about 1,000 of the 52,000 comments reveals they are overwhelmingly positive and sympathetic to Phil’s point of view: that the ship was hit in an unprovoked and deliberate attack by Israel on June 8, 1967 killing 34 servicemen and wounding 174, the US government (LBJ) covered it up, and the attack was intended as a false flag to sink the ship, kill all aboard, and justify the US siding with Israel in its Six Day War against the Arabs. Phil and his surviving shipmates – and a growing number of Americans – appeal to president-elect Trump to pick up their cause and call for a congressional investigation.
