Hey Lew, Between us, ran into Michael and Kitty Dukakis on a plane a few years ago. William Weld came up and they both shook their heads. Michael said it was a shame Weld couldn’t get his drinking under control, that it ruined his career. As of less than a year ago, Weld said he was still drinking, albeit wine and not the hard stuff. If anyone pays attention to Johnson/Weld, I wonder if Weld’s infamous drinking will come up, or if it will rear its ugly head during the campaign.
