Hi Lew,

After watching the short video in which Fauci states 50-75k cases are happening per day (and an unthinking “citizen” will again infer case=death, furthering TheCOVID19ExistentialCrusade) I checked a frequent resource TomWoods uses in his email blasts.

The COVID TrackingProject, hosted by TheAtlantic and cited by innumerable press outlets will stop compiling data 7MAR21, after having done so for the last year.  From the statement on the website:

But the work itself—compiling, cleaning, standardizing, and making sense of COVID-19 data from 56 individual states and territories—is properly the work of federal public health agencies.

If the press is going to leave the role of “standardizing” data to TheG, perhaps overseeing the actions of government should be the role of another entity as well.
