COVID, the pledge, and my felllow Christians

Writes Jim Fedako:

Lew –

We are witnessing various states and cities actively eviscerate the freedom of religion from the dwindling list of natural rights acknowledged by government. Was a virus all that was needed for Christians to readily render their churches to Caesar?

I wonder if my Christian brothers and sisters still proudly stand for The Pledge when called to do so?

A phrase like “the republic” has become quaint, meaningless in context. Yet, to mindlessly repeat the phrase is of little consequence. However, to stand and pledge that this nation is still “under God” is something different altogether.

Hopefully, folks awaken to what is happening, stand for liberty, and once again be willing to balance the vagaries of life against the dichotomy of eternity.
