By supporting peace with Iran, Ron continues the heroic antiwar policy he adopted long before his son was born, and long before Ron held office. Indeed, he became a doctor so that when he was drafted, he would not be forced to shoot or bomb anyone. To say Ron is “breaking” with his son is just nonsensical.
