Hi Lew,

I don’t normally watch television, and because CSPAN now demands a cable subscription to access it’s online content live, I haven’t watched it for a few years.  I believe the first forty-five minutes is informative and entertaining as the media-driven talking points, alternative narratives and full-blown madness are offered by viewers.

This morning’s OpenPhones topic was the Soleimani kill with lines for “Oppose”, “Support”, “Veterans”.  After the segment, my takeaways are:

Khameini and Khomeini are the same guy

Trump is the most courageous president in history

Trump saved American lives

Many, perhaps most, veterans like it when the government kills people

Solimeini is the Iranian Hitler

Trump is inconsistent [referencing the 2011 tweets & video about Obama & Iran]

Trump has sunk his presidency [this might be true]

My question (and the one my family will not understand/ignore over the late Christmas weekend) is: did Trump get pitched an Osama kill/win and go for it or did the DeepState run rogue and spin it to him after the fact?  Either way, the press, demosplats, and every other NeverTrumper loaded another shell to launch on the administration as Pelosi spends time chalking the dud from the house.
