Because it is the Sunday before the Fourth of July, one of the government’s military appreciation days. Some Christians won’t be able to stand the state worship and military worship that will occur in churches across the country this Sunday. Too bad it will not be more of them.
Update: some write to say that they have to skip the Sunday after July 4th as well.
