Why Leave Out Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot?

Incapable of getting Ron Paul’s supporters to repudiate his message of peace, freedom, free enterprise, and a national defense that defends America, his enemies, from the left-wing New Republic to the neocon establishment and libertine “libertarians,” have resorted to the old tactic of name calling. Since he opposes the war in Iraq, some have called him a “Nazi.” Since he opposes “civil rights” laws that destroy property rights while failing to protect civil rights he’s a “racist” or even a KKK sympathizer. Come on, guys, you can do better than that! This is all old hat!

I thought the president of Iran was the next Hitler but I guess I’m mistaken. But why always Hitler and the Nazis? Stalin was a really bad guy, too, wasn’t he? Why haven’t all you haters out there thought of this? Come on, get with it! Here’s a tip: A shadowy figure named Professor Yuri Maltsev has written some articles for LewRockwell.com over the years. He was once and adviser to Gorbachev. That’s enough for now; the rest is up to you. In the spirit of free enterprise, let’s get a little competition going here.

And don’t forget to include Mao and Pol Pot while you’re at it. Hint: A student from Vietnam has attended a seminar at the Mises Institute. He even invited yours truly to visit his country.
