Who Will Win in 2020?

Who will win the 2020 election for president?

Answer: Bernard Schwartz and other mega-donors like him will win. They won’t occupy the office, but they’ll still be the winners.

We can say this with near-certainty because the U.S. government is an oligarchy. Proof is here: “The analysis of 1,779 recent policy outcomes found that ‘economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy,’ while average citizens “have little or no independent influence.”

At this time Democrats are almost 2 to 1 favored to win the presidency in 2020. Among them, a male is favored almost 2 to 1. That means either Biden or Sanders.

Schwartz and others like him have money and influence:

“Democratic megadonor Bernard Schwartz says he’s had private dinners and meetings with House Speaker-designate Nancy Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and other party officials to propose a unified economic policy platform for 2020 hopefuls.

“In an exclusive interview with CNBC, Schwartz said, ‘What I’ve been doing is getting together with Democratic leaders for dinners and conversations. I’m proposing to get together on a unified agenda that all members will rally around.'”

Schwartz is a rather small mega-donor. He’s number 46 on one list of biggies, see here.
