What If the Private Sector Exploited Dead Kids as Government Does?

Responding to Don’t Give Them Any Ideas, David Maharaj observes,

The naming of laws after brutalized and dead children by repugnant politicians (but I repeat myself) is truly disgusting.

To illustrate my point, imagine if an employee of a mega grocery chain killed an innocent child, and the company responded by naming a product after the child. I suspect there would be much outrage.

However, we allow for laws, which are instruments of brute force to be named after innocent deceased children.

We also look for help from the very same people that failed to protect said child. Good grief!

Exploitation by any other name is still exploitation.
