“We Are All In This Together”

Lew, when I read this comment from Cohen, I was reminded of the wonderful Kafkaesque film “Brazil.” The movie is set in a dystopian, totalitarian regime, whose collectivist motto is the same one uttered by Cohen: “We’re all in this together.” In one of the best scenes, the hero – a plumber played by Robert DeNiro – manages to reverse the sewage lines in one building to produce an abundance of waste matter with which some state functionaries must contend.
