Bogdan Dzakovic, formerly of the FAA and then the TSA, has tried for fifteen years to awaken Americans to the Feds’ culpability for 9/11. He’s testified before the “National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States” and has also condemned Our Rulers in such venues as the Los Angeles Times and documentary films.
I had the honor of interviewing Mr. Dzakovic for my article, “Why Bogdan Dzakovic Won’t Fly.” When I asked about his love for liberty, he responded, “Both of my parents survived the carnage between the Germans and Russians during World War II. My father was, apparently, a POW in a German camp for several years, where 90% died. They both escaped communism, emigrated to this country, I was born, and they died a few years later from the extraordinary hardships they endured at the hands of others.” Then comes the line that always chokes me up as I contrast what this country was with what it has become: “I grew up with the very strong belief that the United States of America was a guiding beacon of light and hope for a world gone mad.”
Mr. Dzakovic has just released his first book, Fortress of Deceit: The Story of a 9/11 Whistleblower. What an indispensable addition to any libertarian library!
