War & Misallocation of Resources

Listening this morning to Charles Goyette’s radio show, I had the privilege of listening to Justin Raimondo as a guest. Justin explained how levees made in Baton Rouge had been transported to Iraq for use as barricades. He elaborated on how wars waste resources, which reminds me of a classic principle established thousands of years ago by the great Sun Tzu: When a country is impoverished by military operations, it is because of transporting supplies to a distant place. Transport supplies to a distant place, and the populace will be impoverished.
