Walking Wounded

This article in World magazine on “Walking Wounded” is missing just one thing. Sure, it has accounts of soldiers who have lost their legs and received prosthetic limbs. Sure, it mentions a military study in 2010 that reported the highest amputee-per-wounded soldier and amputee-per-killed soldier rates in the nation’s history. But nothing in the article ever questions the U.S. going to war in the first place or why we are still there.
