Regarding my post about the rifle sights with the Scripture references, Militarized Christianity, a reader pointed out to me something I hadn’t thought of about the Scripture verse shown in the picture I posted of the rifle sight. The verse is John 8:12, “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”  What do U.S. soldiers need a night vision-capable scope for unless they are walking in darkness and not following Christ?
