The leader of the Cuban revolution is evidently a hero. He asked for the meeting with the Pope and here is what happened:
“Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi, Vatican spokesman, said he was watching the two men through a window, then he spoke with the pope about the conversation, which seemed very animated. The pope said Castro, who was raised a Catholic, asked about the reasons for the changes in the liturgy after the Second Vatican Council.”
