If you were among the hapless serfs stranded by Southwest Airlines’ sickout–sorry, the bad weather in Florida last weekend, you’ll recall that pilots walked off the job after the company’s gutless CEO, Gary Kelly, announced that employees must submit to the lethal shots.
Well, since then, ol’ Gar has seen the light. This shameless hustler now claims, “We’re not going to fire any employees over this. … If they can’t get vaccinated, we’re urging them to seek an accommodation, so we’ll do everything we can to support our people here.” He also “told CNBC he’s never been in favor of corporations imposing these kinds of mandates.”
Riiiiight. That would explain his leaping to comply with Uncle Joe Brandon’s fake and illegal mandate.
The article, which Bill Martin forwarded to me, observes, “This is an example that highlights how a growing number of people are taking principled stands against government overreach and violations of conscience.”
It’s also proof that sociopaths lacking all principle don’t populate only politics. Many of them lurk in corporate boardrooms.
But we knew that.
