MosNews.com reports that political leaders there “have threatened to call a referendum on the creation of an autonomous republic if opposition protestors favoring pro-Western Viktor Yushchenko get their way” and overturn the results of the recent election. Will the neocons then endorse the bombing and mass killing of civilians in Eastern Ukrain by the Ukranian government, just as Putin did in Chechnya? That would be, as they are fond of saying, “Lincolnesque,” after all.
