I’ve earlier noted the trend within the Obama administration toward restraining Netanyahu’s bellicosity toward Iran. I’d add Hillary Clinton’s statement to that trend. I’d also add Biden’s speech in York, Pennsylvania in which he criticized Romney’s foreign policy positions on Iraq, Syria and Iran. This could be something more than positioning Obama politically as a “peace” candidate.
