This evening’s news carries a U.S. government lie that is so contrary to the facts that I wonder how the U.S. government maintains any credibility at all. One typical article that reports today’s new bombing of the Gaddafi compound is here. We then have the White House saying “It is certainly not the policy of the coalition, of this administration, to decapitate, or to effect regime change in Libya by force.” They bomb his home and his compound.
