Two Heads (of State) Are Worse than One

As Hillary’s woes grow, so do ours.

In trying to imagine what it would be like for her to be in the White House at the same time her garden of scandals all bloom, I can only think of Shakespeare’s Henry IV, Part 2, and the King’s deathbed advice to his son and heir, Prince Hal.  Henry counseled him that as king he will always be able to distract the people with foreign interventions.

Only now it is Bill advising Hillary, as he whispers, “Be it thy course to busy giddy minds with foreign quarrels.  Just like I did in 1998 with the Monica missiles.”
