Trump’s First NEW War

I asked in an article on LewRockwell.com today (“The Four Horsemen Of The Trumpocalypse”) with whom Donald Trump will start his first new war: Russia, Iran, China, or North Korea?

Here are excerpts from a few of the responses.

G. writes:

The US will not go to war against any of the imagined belligerents. The US is not capable. . . .

The main point is that the US thinks that what they are doing in Yemen, Syria and Afghanistan is war. Boy are they in for a surprise when real war finally arrives. . . .

Not even an Idiot could imagine North Korea or Iran as being even a minute threat to the Western World. When the New Silk Road finally comes on stream Europe will laugh its head off at how stupid the US foreign policy has been. China, Russia and Europe will be one trading bloc.

Reminiscent of the way the U.S. spurned peace overtures emanating from both Germany and Japan in World War II, another correspondent recalls that the U.S. has resisted reunification initiatives in the Korean Peninsula:

Actually, a president ran on such agenda and won in South Korea about 20 years ago. The US objected to such policies since it would send the American troops packing.  Our CIA pushed that president out . . .

Even as the U.S. raises the stakes with the deployment along the DMZ of drones capable of firing Hellfire missiles, R. emails to comment on my conclusion that the first new Trump war will be with North Korea since many of the Washington warmongers see a regime change operation there as “doable.”

It appears you may be correct, although my money is on Iran. The navy is busy trying to get another Iranian swift boat false flag such as the one a year ago.

What say you?   Will Trump’s first new war be with Russia, Iran, China, or North Korea?
