The Left just  doesn’t get it. They foment racism for years, then call Trump and all his supporters racists (just like the Catholic bishops do, by the way). Drumbeat, drumbeat. Baseless? Sure. But it serves to reinforce their fundamentals: no evil no evil remains for  the Left but “racism” [and its synonyms – xenophobia, bigotry, etc.).
