Protesters routinely say that Trump is racist, xenophobic, Islamophobic, misogynist and anti-Semitic. Articles are written that collect his remarks or provide anecdotes that make the case; they are easily found using Google. Some people seem to be going almost bananas over how they view Trump on these matters; that too can easily be found.
Not found easily is research that seriously seeks answers to whether or not Trump is actually these things. Another question is whether or not he’s any more or less racist, xenophobic, Islamophobic, misogynist or anti-Semitic than other candidates or elected officials, past and present. Or whether he advocates policies on these matters that depart radically from existing policies of the U.S. government.
Scott Alexander provides a lengthy analysis of these questions or some of them. This is a thoughtful source that doesn’t come up routinely if one uses Google to gather information on these questions.7:21 am on November 18, 2016 Email Michael S. Rozeff
