Trump wrote “The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!” I interpret this tweet as a counterattack against the forces that are seeking to bring Trump’s presidency to a quick end. Those forces are operating by use of these major media and others that are internet based.
