The press is reporting that at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, Romney won a straw poll with 439 votes and Paul placed second with 438 votes. IMHO, that’s a huge win for Paul. He beat out Palin, Gingrich, Pawlenty, etc. and is in a statistical dead heat with Romney. Romney, the author of Romneycare, the model for much of Obamacare, is very vulnerable on that alone.
