One of the more astounding aspects of Progressivism is the relative honesty of its early proponents: they often and clearly confessed their desire to boss everyone else, to mold “society” into the shape they desired (and the heck with what those lesser mortals, the taxpayers and serfs, might prefer), to murder those they deemed inferior while imprisoning dissidents.
