Thoughts on the debate

I was driving back from Albany where I was working on getting Ron Paul’s delegates qualified and I listened to the debate by cell phone.

With fewer candidates, Ron Paul had more time and was superb throughout, even deflecting several dumb questions.

I took note during the first question that McCain, Huckabee, Romney and Thompson were faking some understanding of economics. Huckabee is particularly clueless.

Faux News tried to suggested that Ron Paul had it wrong in sizing up the bellicose response the comical speedboat incident but didn’t Huckabee talk about sending them to hell and didn’t Thompson talk about sending them to meet their “virgins”?

And I love his reference to the “little primaries.”

Exactly! Two small states (and Wyoming) have voted for the welfare-warfare state and, by practical implication, for Hillary. Let the other 47 states be heard. What’s the rush?
