According to Military.com, “A Peterson Air Force Base airman was sentenced to 12 years of confinement Tuesday for possessing pornographic pictures of toddlers, having cybersex with a teenage girl and attempting to strangle his wife.” And yet the myth persists that the military has special values and that military personnel are special people that we should thank for their service morning, noon, and night.
