The mass murder at a Charleston, South Carolina church that occurred yesterday would never have happened the way it did if just one person there was armed and knew how to use his firearm.  This horrible incident is another example of what Thomas Sowell calls “the legacy of liberalism,” which he says ranks up there with “the legacy of slavery” in terms of the harm it has done to black Americans.  I was reminded of the stark contrast of that South Carolina church full of black liberals and a church service I attended last summer in Kalispell, Montana where the pastor (Chuck Baldwin) told me that about three fourths of the people there were carrying firearms.  You’ll never hear of people being gunned down like rabid dogs in Chuck Baldwin’s church.
