Today I did an earlier LRC blog on four special films on TCM (Turner Classic Movies) tonight that everyone should make a special point to watch. But now I want to briefly single out another movie that will air on TCM cable/satellite on Friday morning at 3:30 AM Eastern. The film is Trial. It is exceptionally well executed with a top Hollywood cast from the era in which it was produced. But the movie could not be made today. If somehow it was clandestinely produced today critics would venomously assail and attack it viciously,  and seething mobs would storm the movie theaters in outrage. Watch it and see what I mean.
