In response to Lew’s blog, perhaps the most powerful anti-war film I have ever seen – and which can be purchased – is the Canadian-produced “Aftermath: The Remnants of War.” Rather than focusing on battle scenes, it deals entirely with the after-effects of the war system on the lives of ordinary people, many of whom were not even alive when those wars were fought.
