Rand Paul is right to say so, of course. As Ayn Rand used to say, to claim one has a right, government enforced, to medical treatment is to endorse partial slavery of those who are supposed to provide this “right.” But then, all of government is based on partial slavery, from taxation to regulation to war. Or full slavery, as in the draft or prisons. Government: enforcing phony rights as an excuse to loot and control the non-overlords.
