With Huckabee gaining enough delegates, McCain will not (mercifully) have a lock on becoming the Republican nominee. By September 1, when the Republican convention convenes, an economic tornado devastating the U.S. dollar and turning an inflationary recession into a depression could well turn the tables on the economically-challenged Republican candidates McCain and Huckabee. With his understanding of Austrian economics and sound money, Ron Paul could then emerge as the only hope for successfully dealing with this economic debacle–Republican or Democrat–despite what the Neocon Republican establishment, Democrats, and the MSM might wish. Ron Paul’s campaign, and advertising budget, needs to focus on this possible, and perhaps likely economic outcome.
