The V-2 rocket was an awesome weapon of mass destruction. My wife Susan and I visited the Cosmosphere International SciEd Center and Space Museum in Hutchinson, KS and saw actual V-1 and V-2 weapons on exhibit. The Cosmosphere was named one of the first affiliates of the Smithsonian Institution, formalizing a long-term relationship with the Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum. Dr. Wernher von Braun was not our tour guide.
