The State Destroys More Than Any Storm Ever Could

In the wake of “widespread high winds and a tornado outbreak” across Iowa, churches in Cedar Rapids strive to offer “an avenue for God’s grace.” Even congregations whose buildings were destroyed have fielded “teams of volunteers who are working to repair damage and remove debris from homes and businesses. Others are working around the clock to distribute food, emergency supplies, and medical care to community members in need.”

And Christians are worshipping corporately at St Mark’s Lutheran Church—albeit outside.

Contrast this determined faithfulness with the reaction to the shamdemic, when St. Mark’s closed its doors (pardon my picking on St. Mark’s: I’m sure I could select any of the other churches named in this article and discover the same kowtowing to godless bureaucrats and politicians).

Moral of the story: government crushes even that which can survive Mother Nature’s fury.
