Writer Susan Sontag passed away this week, and the Washington (Com)Post eulogized her on Dec. 29 with both a front-page spread and a gigantic Style Section article taking up a full page, complete with several Mao-sized photos. To the Left, even death is political, as it deifies its public intellectuals.
