The people of Michigan have just endured five long, dark, cold months of winter, with little to no sun, let alone outdoor activities. As spring is just now arriving, people are escaping their government-ordered imprisonment to enjoy a trail as the temps hit above 50 degrees for the first time since October. Well, the outdoor politburo is enraged.
DNR staff observed many instances of improper social distancing and people traveling a long way to visit the outdoor space.
Therefore the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is threatening to close down all outdoor spaces to folks who dare to leave their “shelter.” Good luck policing that one 5 miles back into the woods.
