“Bush wants history to see him as a liberator of millions,” reads the headline (which belongs in the American Journal of Profound Psychiatric Disorders, frankly).
“I’d like to be a president (known) as somebody who liberated 50 million people and helped achieve peace,” Bush said in excerpts of a recent interview released by the White House Friday.
One wonders, will those “millions” include Scooter Libby, Karl Rove, Don Rumsfeld, Elliott Abrams (who could be pardoned by TWO presidents!), Al Gonzales, and “thousands” of others.
Bush thus validates the criticism that has made neocons seethe, while telling the truth: “Good Christians” can be nuts, too.
