The Jail Hasn’t Been Built That Can Daunt the Pawlowskis

Those lion-hearted Canadian martyrs, Pastor Artur Pawlowski, and his brother, Dawid, now languish in jail after their arrest Saturday. “At least six patrol cars” from Canada’s Gestapo “stopped the car Artur drove on his way home” from a service he’d held that day in defiance of  tyrannical mandates banning worship (need I add “because of the plandemic”? Or are you as sick of hearing that excuse for totalitarianism as I am?). Despite onlookers hollering such objections as, “Shame on you guys, this is not Communist China. Don’t you have family and kids? Whatever happened to ‘Canada, God keep our land glorious and free?”, cops forced the brothers to the wet pavement before cuffing them.

Naturally, their captors are abusing our heroes.

…the pastor, … in jail, was unaware of the worldwide outpouring of help for him, and still unaware that his three-person law team had been attempting to communicate with him nonstop, but that police had declined to forward their calls to him.

That wholesale violation of his rights proves that these arrests have nothing to do with halting the spread of a virulent disease—not to mention that there is no virulent disease—and everything to do with punishing men who made fools of the government in previous encounters. Leviathan’s lackeys don’t take kindly to such accurate descriptions as “Nazi psychopaths. Unbelievable sick, evil people. …You gestapo Nazi communist fascists!”

Knowing the Pawlowskis, they’ll strive tirelessly to evangelize the prison housing them, just as Paul and Silas did. God is still sovereign, and He has put these courageous witnesses where they can best work for His glory. Join me in praying that He’ll bless them richly, comfort their families and parishioners, and grant each of these folks the hope and perseverance they need.
