This seriocomic account is something straight out of Jean Raspail’s The Camp of the Saints, complete with the hapless black woman pictured holding a sign ironically proclaiming “Being Black Is Not A Crime” while surrounded by black rioters going on a mindless criminal rampage creating havoc and destruction in a distant location thousands of miles from the scene of the Zimmerman/Martin confrontation.
Since the Edward Snowden NSA “surveillance state” revelations there has been a revival of the on-going academic debate on whether the US is more like Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World or George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four. Put my money on The Camp of the Saints.
