On MSNBC, there was a typical media debate (pro-state vs. pro-state) on the bailout of Citibank. Liberal Mark Green, quoting the lying Nixon that “we are all Keynesians now,” called for more bailouts to encourage more crazed spending and debt by consumers, since that is the alleged key to prosperity. Conservative Pat Buchanan said that, of course, “we” had to bailout Citibank, but GM should be bailed-out too.
