Supporters of liberty quite often get discouraged at the seeming lack of progress. The State’s measures, old and new, are visible. Our efforts are less visible. They are inside people’s heads, for one thing. We are eroding the foundations of the empire merely by shining a light on them, but the erosion is beneath the surface.
