That’s how the London Telegraph describes Abe Lincoln, repeating the Official Mantra of Lincoln cultists like Harry Jaffa and his merry band of neocon Lincoln cultists.  The comments on this article demonstrate, however, that a lot of Europeans — and even some Americans — are finally coming to understand what pure, unadalterated B.S. such talk is.  As one commentator wrote, “Lincoln represents everything that is wrong with America.”
